Need student help this Sunday for poker tournament

Hello All!

This is a reminder to all parents and students that we have our poker tournament fundraiser this Sunday starting at 10:00 AM at Stan's Caravan on West 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge. We still need some student volunteers to help us out through the day. There is a sheet in the band room that your students can sign up on. Remember, this is to help us on our journey to Ireland as well as keep our program going in these difficult economic times.

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing all of you at the concert next week!

KS gift cards March 7

This Saturday, March 7, Susan Dunn will be at the Starbucks at 38th and Kipling between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to sell King Soopers gift cards. Remember: For every dollar you spend on groceries, you can allocate 5 percent to your student's account. Doesn't seem like much, but that 5 percent can add up very quickly, especially when it comes time to pay for trips, equipment and other band-related activities.

So don't be shy. Come by this Saturday and buy those gift cards.

Thanks.

And don't forget the musical this week. "Once Upon a Mattress" will be presented Wednesday, March 4 through Saturday March 7, each evening at 7 p.m. Tix are $12.

Thanks for your support
