Winter Guard state still on; no rehearsals March 26

Hello Everyone!

Congratulations to all the students for the wonderful concert last night! You should be very proud of your student's accomplishments.

In light of the snow and canceled school today, there will be no Winter Guard or Winter Percussion rehearsal this afternoon. The schedule for Winter Guard state is still the same, however, and is copied below if you are interested in coming out to support the girls.

Performance on March 28

at Denver Coliseum


Girls, Please make sure to come ready to go. Please have you hair and make-up done when you come to practice at 7:45. Do not be late!!!!!!!! This is a long day be ready for anything!



No Video Cameras or Balloons Allowed per the Coliseum Policies


7:45 a.m. Arrive at Wheat Ridge High School

8:00-10 p.m. Practice (Please tell your friends they are not allowed to be at practice!!!)

10-10:45 Fold tarp and load (Jen the 50/50 is front to back)

10:30 drivers arrive

10:45 Leave from WRHS

11:15 Arrive at Denver Coliseum

11:45 Unload

12:15 stretch in hallways

12:37 Warm-up

1:01- PERFORMANCE!!!!

1:10 formal Picture

1:20 pack up and load. Change out of uniform.

1:40 Eat Lunch and wait for score to be posted

2:00 into stands and watch!

**** because this is a prelims, finals event we will not know the schedule until the score are posted******


Estimated Schedule for Finals. This is when the first SA guard will perform... we will know more after our prelims performance:
5:00 Watch groups preform
5:30 report to hallways
5:35 stretch in hallways
5:54 Warm-up
6:18 Performance
6:40 Change and into stands to watch!!!!
9:20 retreat THIS IS A WHOLE GUARD EVENT!!!!!!!!!!
10:00 Leave Coliseum
10:30 Arrive at WRHS and unload

Prelims - $10 adults, $8 Seniors 65 + and children 6 yrs to 12 yrs

Finals - $15 adults, $10 Seniors 65 + and children 6 yrs to 12 yrs

All Day - $20 adults, $15 Seniors 65 + and children 6 yrs to 12 yrs
